How I got started
After seeing blogging as a tool to establish yourself as a trusted authority by other individuals and busines’s I quickly realized that blogging is a great tool to change how I’m viewed in the mortgage industry. So I decided to start my own mortgage blog and now I use it in my marketing pieces as well as a way to establish authority to my audience.
I soon decided to bring this out to mortgage officers for two reasons. One of the biggest grumblings among loan officers and brokers is that they’re viewed as a commodity and not being able to stand out from the crowd. Secondly, writing a blog is very time consuming and recent reports say about 94% of people stop blogging after 6 months.
